As climate change continues to challenge our planet, we’re taking action to make a meaningful difference by joining Ecologi, a programme that helps organisations reduce their carbon footprint. We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve already funded the planting of 30 trees across four sustainable projects, doing our bit to to build a greener future.
Trees are vital to our planet’s health. Not only do they reduce climate change by absorbing carbon dioxide, but they also provide habitats for countless species. As part of Ecologi, we’re dedicated to supporting these important efforts to protect our planet.
So far, we’ve funded 17 trees in Madagascar for mangrove planting, which protect shorelines from erosion and act as a natural carbon sink. In Kenya, 9 trees have been planted to supporting biodiversity and enhancing local livelihoods. Additionally, we’ve contributed to planting other trees to promote food security and sustainability.
This month alone, thanks to signing up with Ecologi, we’ve managed to avoid 3.33 certified tonnes of CO2e! This reflects our commitment to not just planting trees but improving air quality to create a healthier planet for young people.
As we continue to do our part to help overcome climate change, we aim to create a more sustainable future for generations to come. Together, we can make a positive impact—one tree at a time!
