The Aldgate and Allhallows Foundation was delighted to fund this ground-breaking research produced by Demos. The research centres on the deficit of young Muslims gaining top professional jobs. For a charity like Aldgate and Allhallows Foundation which has supported education of young people in Tower Hamlets since 1895, the research has particular resonance and the recommendations are welcomed. The research was launched at a special panel discussion on Wednesday 21st October 2015, chaired by Aisha Ghani (The Guardian) with speeches and discussion from Louis Reynolds (report author, Demos); Ayesha Qureshi (Holborn Partners); Rushanara Ali MP; Dermot O’Brien (Adab Trust); and John Hall (Chairman of Aldgate and Allhallows Foundation).
