As part of Barts and The London School of Medicine & Dentistry at Queen Mary University of London, Centre of the Cell is the first science education centre in the world to be located within medical research laboratories. Throughout the year, it delivers educational shows, experiences, and youth engagement events to primary and secondary school-age children, focusing on biology and human health.
To promote engagement with young people locally, the Foundation is delighted to announce a further three years of funding towards the work of an Aldgate and Allhallows Learning Officer who will administer Centre of the Cell’s Youth Membership Scheme.
If you are a young person interested in getting involved, or a teacher with a class of budding scientists, you can enrol and read more about the programme of activities here
